Public Peering Public peering is the central service offered by the NAP. Operators connect their Border Routers to the NAP technological platform, which works to assures mutual visibility to all adherents on a single public VLAN. Public peering agreements are implemented for free Internet traffic interexchange among NAP adherents owning at least one AS and having IPv4 address space. They are based on the BGP4 protocol and do not provide transit service. |
